SATCHEL'S Round Up For Charity (RUFC) 

Bimonthly Partners for 2026

The Giving Committe has selected Satchel's Six Bimonthly RUFC Partners for 2026.

JAN/FEB 2026 partner is Alachua Conservation's Trust EcoRover - ACT began working with local disability organizations and adaptive equipment providers to develop an accessible trail program grounded in impact and empowerment. One ofthe cornerstone tools of this program is the EcoRover, an adaptive all-terrain mobility device that enables individuals with limited mobility to independently explore trails, cross difficult terrain, and experience the natural world with greater freedom and dignity.


   Satchel's other RUFC partners in 2026 will be - 

GROW HUB, Southern Legal Counsel, Streetlight UF, Therapeutic Horticulture Summer Program - Girls Can Do It Too! and Prairie Creek Conservation Cemetery

   THIRD QUARTER SATCH CARES GRANTS 2025

                      RUFC AWARDS second half 2025

Satchel's awarded almost $10,000 in the second half of 2025 to several of our community nonprofits, schools and organizations.   A big portion came from YOU, our beautiful customers who Round Up For Charity when paying their tabs at Satchel's.

GOOD WORK GAINESVILLE! THANK YOU!!!

RUFC July and August $2917 was awarded to  Service Dogs For Patriots  Helps instill within veterans battling PTSD a sense of independence, confidence, and freedom through training their own service dog.

RUFC September and October   $2536  was raised for Girl's Place    Empowers girls to grow courageous, strong and self sufficient. Girl's Place inspires girls to celebrate themselves—their minds, their hearts, and their physical well being.

RUFC November and December    $2331 went to the Partnership for Strong FamiliesSPSF is contracted by the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) to deliver comprehensive child welfare services to children who are victims of abuse and neglect. PSF also works with at-risk families to prevent child abuse and to decrease the risk of children entering the out-of-home care system. PSF serves nearly 5,000 children in 13 counties annually, including Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Lafayette, Levy, Madison, Suwannee, Taylor and Union Counties.

SATCH CARES Q3 2025  

$1500 to Bread of the Mighty Food Bank  Together, we take a holistic approach to nourishing our community – rescuing surplus food, sharing it through local pantries, and empowering families through education, advocacy, and compassionate support to ensure no one goes hungry.

$500 to St Francis Vet Care   The charitable mission of St. Francis Pet Care: A Remedy Clinic is to help people in our most vulnerable communities remain together with their pets so both can benefit from the human-animal bond.  To this end, we provide primary veterinary care to the companion animals of homeless persons, veterans, and very low-income residents of North Central Florida.
